Moxibustion

Moxibustion

Moxa is a dried plant used to warm and stimulate various acupuncture points on the body. The process of stimulating these points is known as moxibustion.
Moxa is derived from the plant, artimisia argyi. Moxibustion therapy is commonly used in conjunction with acupuncture treatments. It improves the circulation of blood and qi.
It is commonly used as a form of heat therapy and functions to treat any condition that is cold or deficient in nature. Common uses include pain, particular types of fertility and infertility issues, as well as digestive disorders.
