Functions

Astringent

Release exterior and induce diaphoresis
Sx: chronic diarrhea or dysenteric disorders with unremitting diearrhea to the point of incontinence, and in severe cases, prolapsed rectum. the diarrhea may contain pus and blood, and there may also be tenesmus. accompanying symptoms include mild, persistent abdominal pain that responds favorably to local pressure or warmth, lethargy, and a wan complexion, reduced appetite, soreness of the lower back, lack of strength in the legs. T: pale with a white coat. P: slow and thin.

bai zhu 18g (9-12g)

rou gui 24g (3-4.5g)

wei rou dou kou 15g (9-15g)
