Sx: strong fever and chills w/o sweating, HA, a generalized sensation of heaviness and tightness, red face and eyes, dry nasal passages, thirst, irritability and insomnia (leading in severe cases to delirium), possible nosebleeds, coughing up blood, or skin blotches. T: n/a. P: a rapid, slippery or rapid, flooding pulse.
