On the forehead, 1 cun above the midpoint of the eyebrow, at approximately 1/3 of the distance from the eyebrow to the anterior hairline, in a depression.
0.5 -0.8 cun transverse (usually inferiorly)

Gall Bladder,
intersection with ST, SJ, & LI. Reunion with Yang Wei Mai, sends branch to BL-1.
Dispels winds, clears heat, benefits the head.
Benefits and brightens the eyes.
Activates the meridians and perfuses Qi.
